Mission Statement

The Heart of Texas DB2 Users Group (HOTDUG) is a nonprofit, user-run organization whose mission is to assist DB2 professionals by providing high quality education and services designed to promote the effective utilization of the DB2 family of products.

Governing Body

The governing body is the Board of Directors, elected annually by the members of the organization. The Board consists of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Technology Officer and Program Coordinator. The Board may appoint additional board members to assist with the various administrative tasks.

Policies

A. Vendor presentations must be of a non-marketing nature, contributing to the general knowledge and understanding of the DB2 product family.

B. The HOTDUG mailing list is confidential and will not be given out to vendors, or other organizations.

C. Vendor materials may be distributed freely at any meeting. We make a vendor table available where HOTDUG attendees may pick these up at will.

Membership Fees

All 2002 meetings will be free, no membership fee required.
