Gee, If I Had Only Waited a Day
What's up with DB2 today is different than what was up with DB2 yesterday.
Yesterday, I blogged here about what's up with DB2 for z/OS. And everything I said was all well and good for yesterday. But what a difference a day can make!
You see, on today's service discontinuance list from IBM it was announced that DB2 V7 will go out of service on June 30, 2008.
So now we know when we can expect for V7 to no longer be supported. If that doesn't light a fire under shops who have yet to migrate to V8, I can't imagine what might.
